Helping Dogs North of the 56th Parallel

About Our Rescue

The Wild North Dog Rescue is located in Gillam, MB.

We are a registered non-profit group working within the isolated communities of the North East corner Manitoba. WNDR officially launched in 2019, however our Directors have been helping save dogs in the North since 2016.

We take in strays dogs and dogs that are surrendered to us by their owners.
We provide food and necessary supplies to dogs in need.
We bring vet clinics up to the communities we work with.
We live in the North and We Love the North! It is our home and we treat all people and animals with respect and compassion. We adopt within the North when we can because we know that there are lots of amazing homes here!
We are a foster based rescue. We use foster homes to keep our dogs in until they can be adopted into loving homes or transferred into the care of other rescue organizations.
